So I was happy with how Krista turned out, but she wasn't exactly what I wanted to make. I wanted to go for the more generic anime style plush, and so started following This tutorial.

I thought it would be a good idea to start off using felt - its cheap and easily available. Since these are practise for me, I thought it would be a good material to use. Sadly, I was wrong.

The felt is very thick and easily torn, so whilst attempting to turn the little arms out the right way with the aid of a crochet hook, i pierced a hole right through the arm

I'm going to venture to get a more suitable fabric, but now also need to find a use for the metre of skin coloured felt I now have!

In the meantime, I've posted a little felt bird brooch that I made for my friend for her birthday.
